We all know someone who has been the cornerstone of our child's success. Or that special someone we turn to in a crisis who has always been able to guide us. Please consider awarding that special someone whose actions are always beyond the call of duty with a certificate recognizing them as a FRIEND IN DEED.

Submit the form below to FRN and we will make sure that those friends whose acts of kindness and compassion have made a difference in the life of a child and their family are formally recognized. Their names will be printed in FRN's next newsletter.

In 2006 Family Resource Network (FRN) announced the establishment of the Healing Hearts Society. The Healing Hearts Society was formed to offer limited financial assistance to families following the death of their child with special needs. Individuals and organizations throughout FRN's service area of San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties have donated funds to the Healing Heart Society. Currently the Society will offer grants of up to $250 per family.

All requests for funds must be referred to Family Resource Network by a local agency. The Healing Hearts Society Committee will review all applications and allocate grants based on available funds.

Family Resource Network is grateful to the members of the Healing Hearts Society. Their donations will offer assistance and support to families at the most difficult time of their lives.

Any agency wishing to receive an application form and funding criteria should contact FRN at the address listed below. Anyone wishing to make a tax-deductible donation to the Healing Heart Society can contact FRN for a donation form.
